ATTENTION PARENTS AND STUDENTS: We are emphasizing being punctual to every class. We will facilitate tardy sweeps . If students are in the hallway after the tardy bell sounds, disciplinary consequences will be administered per the code of conduct. We encourage all students to arrive to class on time every period.

#EMS Cares-Erwin Middle School with host a faculty vs student volleyball game on October 25
th. Armbands will be $3 and concessions will be sold. We will be on an afternoon activity schedule. All proceeds will go to American Heart Association and United Way. Let’s support these organizations as they continue to impact lives.

Red Ribbon Week-SRO Deputy Powell will facilitate a presentation on drug use prevention to all grade levels. Students will take the Drug Free Pledge.

2017-2018 Dress Code Policy

- Jeans with open holes above the knee are not allowed

- Skirts and dresses must be no shorter than 4 inches above the knee

- Cutoff tops, tank tops, and mesh or sheer tops can be worn if a t-shirt with sleeves is worn underneath or another shirt is worn over the top. The cover shirt or undershirt may not be clear or mesh

- No halter-tops, spaghetti strap tops. Midriff tops, or overly revealing shirts

- Purses and bookbags are not allowed in class

- Leggings and jeggins are allowed only if you have appropriate clothing over them that meet the dress code policy
